Position Summary

Responsible for administrative tasks associated with distribution and supply chain transportation, both inbound and outbound.

Manages the flow of information between vendors, carriers, and logistics staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Schedules all outbound and inbound appointments for shipping and receiving
  • Dispatches and tracks all Outbound / Inbound orders and communicate updates to appropriate departments.
  • Reviews all carrier invoices against current rates, noting any issues.
  • Provides daily updates on inbound and outbound loads, with special attention paid to delayed deliveries.
  • Tracks and manages purchase order receiving for purchasing.
  • Learns and understands Abinter Labs bucket system to include scheduling and ordering process.
  • Enters customers orders as well as verifies sales orders for accuracy
  • Perform kitting and return to stock functions.
  • Perform staging of finished goods in preparation for shipping.
  • Operates forklift in a safe manner. Completes forklift inspections and check sheets before using a forklift.
  • Performs scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle counts.
  • Follows all Company rules, including, but not limited to SOP's, GMP's, Safety, PPE, and all rules prescribed by ISO and SMETA certifications.
  • Perform other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by Supervisor.
  • Contributes to the overall team effort by supporting other work areas as workload permits and with the approval of the Plant Manager.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Requires 6 months of material handling in a warehouse environment. Previous inventory control experience desirable.
  • Basic math skills required. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Good organization and computer skills.
  • Must be able to drive a sit-down forklift and be certified as a forklift driver.
  • 3 years experience with transportation scheduling preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word.
  • Must have good communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written) and be able to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to calculate figures using basic math techniques.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Being bilingual is a plus but not necessary.
  • Drivers license.
  • Ability to walk, stand for a prolonged amount of time as the job requires it.
  • Ability to act competently in emergencies.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to interact with team members in a positive and professional way.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to travel throughout Warehouse areas and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in variable temperature environments.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift heavy loads (75 lbs.)
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift occasional heavy loads (50 lbs. or more).
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours based upon needs of Operation.
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to work the outdoors as needed.

Schedule : Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm (flexibility for overtime and Saturdays if needed)

License : Driver's License (Required)

Base Salary : DOE

Payment : Bi-Monthly. Via payroll, minus the corresponding taxes.

Remote Work : No

Employment with Abinter Labs, LLC is at-will and separation of employment can be done with or without cause, and with or without notice, at any time either at the option of the company or the employee.
